Mending Root Temple (Mending Root) is a light house for those who are ready to make the choice to heal. We are committed to guiding all that come to our doors as they take the journey home, whether that is working through ancestral trauma, behavioral addictions, feeling lost, depression / anxiety, etc.
We work to be a bridge between the western world and an individuals ancestral traditions. How our ancestors understood the world and connected to the Creator can inspire how we build a personal connection to self and truth. MENDING ROOT APOTHECARY
If you translate the name of many of our original spiritual systems you’ll have some variation of “ the way of the land ” or “ the study of life/nature ”. We cannot understand African spiritually and tradition without understanding nature, as all of our systems are based in nature. Mending Root understands the power of finding knowledge and healing in your own backyard.
Some of our local programs utilize community gardens to encourage communities to see the medicine that surrounds us.
